5 ways to find alpha in 2022 đ§
â lurvli.eth (@lurvli1) January 3, 2022
𧾠below
1. @icy_tools
free tool that gives real-time activity of projects thatâs moving
(volume, price action, transactions, mkt cap)
Iâm very data-driven so seeing trends + numbers helps me understand the macro of whatâs moving although icy tools free service is limitedÂ
2. @nansen_ai
– analytics platform
– great way to discover new projects, observe minting activity, smart money movement & even set alerts on specific wallet addresses
– through tracking wallets, iâve learned to understand the trading strategies of certain smart investorsÂ
– cheapest plan $150/mo
â ď¸DYOR
– smart investors have way more capital to play with & higher risk tolerance
– lots of projects airdrop NFTs to popular wallets knowing that ppl watch their âmintsâ & follow
– Iâve followed wallets & bought rugpull collections ie cryptoes đ

3. NFT bots
i follow accounts on twitter that tweets trending nft collections. so if Iâm out & about i know whatâs happening (cause being a degen is a 24/7 job đ¤Ş)
more importantly, if you want to get in early, every min counts so acting fast is key!
@nftwhalealertÂ
tweets hourly high volume & top mints
– tweets any usually high sales of collections
(ex if a nft avg sales is 0.3, a purchase of 1.3 would be posted)
@NFTrepreneur
– tweets top 10 trending OS & top mintsÂ
these accounts shows me what projects potential smart money is moving into and a possibility that more wallets may follow.Â
4. twitter influencers
thereâs so many types of influencers in the crypto twitter space, find content that helps you learn
– community focused @andrwwang@ohhshiny
– educational threads @wilxlee@Loopifyyy
– smart traders @KeyboardMonkey3
– pump + dumpÂ
twitter spaces has also been valuable to learn more about projects. founders jump on & share. It’s also interesting to hear others perspectives on projects.
â ď¸ note
with influence, everyone has their biases whether its paid marketing or preferred projects influencers can get paid to post, for giveaways + jump on spaces as part of their marketing campaign
keep that in mind! be able to have that filter and listen to the content thatâs being shared and judge for yourself whatâs quality contentÂ
5. alpha groups
Ive lurked in multiple communities to find one that suits my style
⨠I’ve followed @Zeneca_33 daily summary & was lucky enough to join his discord early (access to ZenAcademy currently at 0.13E) Appreciate the
thoughtful conversations of like-minded ppl thereÂ
⨠having a @CyberKongz baby or genesis kong gives you access to wall street kongz (currently 6.2E) the community & alpha thatâs shared in WSK has been one of the most valuable
ie i bought into @nftworldsNFT when it was a free mint. yesterday it hit an ATH of 4E đ¤ŻÂ
â ď¸ these alpha groups can also be an echo chamber.
i’d recommend joining a few groups, hear the alpha but always use your own lens to stay objective.Â
6. validate
once you find a project, validate that info. jump in their discord, join the conversations and check out the vibes
whatâs their community like? roadmap (if any)? whose their team? is their founder engaged in convos?Â
nothing beats firsthand experience regardless if youâre made some wins or having to take some losses. Itâs personally helped me learn from my mistakes and become a better degen/trader.
hoping 2022 will help you find the next alpha that gets you that new dream home â¨
like + retweet + follow on my journey as I continue to learn and build in web3
