A crypto or NFT investor who holds on to large amounts of a specific token for a long period, regardless of how good or bad it is doing in the market.
The Long Explanation
In NFT, the term ‘bag’ refers to a significant number of similar non-fungible tokens held by an NFT investor.
On the other hand, the term ‘bag holder’ refers to an NFT holder holding on to his tokens for a long period of time, without selling them, regardless of the market standing of those NFTs.
In some cases, an NFT investor becomes a bag holder because he/she strongly believes that their tokens will be more valuable in the future.
In other instances, a bag holder could be a first-time NFT investor who is not savvy enough to keep up with the performances of their NFTs on the market, or just doesn’t have the time to follow through.
